Because preparation shouldn't depend on class, geography, or privilege. We grew up watching smart people fail exams because they couldn't afford a coaching class. AceMark is what we wish we'd had.

How do you make money if everything is free?

Accepted Answer

Two non-intrusive revenue sources, neither of which charge the learner: Display advertising via Google AdSense — small, contextual, non-personalized for under-18 visitors. Never auto-playing video, never modal pop-ups. Optional "support us" page — users who find AceMark useful can name their own price. Zero gating. No reminders. We don't sell user data. We don't charge for content. Light ads are the trade so the product can stay free for everyone.

Where do AceMark's practice questions come from?

AceMark generates original practice questions based on each exam's published syllabus. We don't copy or republish copyrighted official exam items. This is the same approach used by Pocket Prep, Magoosh, UWorld, and Princeton Review — the published syllabus is the source of truth; the questions themselves are ours. What's protected by copyright: Question wording: yes — verbatim copying would be infringement Syllabus topics, learning objectives, concepts: no — those are facts, not copyrightable Every page has a disclaimer making this explicit: "Independent practice tool — not affiliated with any government body, exam authority, or recognised tutoring institution. Practice questions are written for study purposes and may not match the real exam."

Do you copy official exam questions?

No. That would be illegal, and we don't do it. Our questions test the same concepts and skills the official exam tests, but the wording, scenarios, and answer choices are written from scratch. If you ever spot a question that looks copied from an official source, please flag it via the feedback button on any exam page — we treat that as a P0 issue and remove the question pending review.

How accurate are the questions? Who checks them?

Every question is checked daily by three independent large language models (LLMs). When they disagree with the marked answer or report confidence below 50%, the question is flagged for human review on our admin dashboard. We also run a weekly syllabus-drift check against each exam's official URL. When the exam authority publishes a syllabus update — a new version, blueprint change, scoring change — we get an alert and regenerate the affected questions. Found a wrong answer or unclear question? Use the feedback button on the exam page. We read every report.

Why do some exams have a "Beta" badge?

The Beta badge appears on exams whose practice tests were auto-generated by our content pipeline (vs. hand-curated by the editorial team). Both go through the same validation, but Beta exams are marked clearly so you know the provenance. Auto-generated practice tests cover the long tail — niche certs, state-specific tests, and exams whose syllabus is well-published but volume is low. They're real, validated practice tests, just less polished than our flagship banks. Please report any issues.

Why do you ask me to sign in?

You don't have to — you can browse the entire catalog and start any practice test without an account. Sign in (free, 10 seconds) only if you want us to: Track your progress across sessions Save your attempts so you can resume later Unlock the AI study coach that builds a personalized plan Email you when an exam you waitlisted goes live None of those work without an account because they're tied to you. We don't sell your data, ever.

What sign-in options do you support?

Two paths: Email + password — set a password, verify your email, sign in. Standard, no third party in the loop. Continue with Google — single click. Uses Google's standard OAuth. Doesn't share your contacts or anything beyond name + email. You can later add a password to a Google-signed-up account, or vice versa.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — at any time, no questions asked. Go to your account settings → "Delete my account." We delete your account data within 24 hours (some backup snapshots take up to 30 days to roll out, per our retention policy). You can also email us at app.acemark@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" if you can't sign in. Your right to delete is documented in our Privacy Policy under GDPR and DPDPA (India).

Is there a paid plan or premium tier?

No. There's no premium tier, no paid plan, no "AceMark Pro" gating questions behind a paywall. Everything is free. Every exam. Every question. Every feature. We're funded by light ads + voluntary support — not by paywalling content.

Question 12

Will you add a paywall later?

Accepted Answer

Not as long as we can sustain operations on ads + voluntary support. The "free forever" promise is baked into our public mission and our investor-facing documents. If economics ever change radically — they shouldn't, but if — we'd communicate transparently long before any change, and existing users would not lose access to anything they already use.

Do you show exam dates and application deadlines?

Yes — for major exams, the exam detail page shows the next application open/close window, exam date, and result date. We populate this from official exam authority sites and refresh it as authorities update. If a date looks wrong, please flag it via the feedback button on the exam page. For exams without a fixed annual cycle (rolling certifications like AWS, PMP, ITIL), there's no "next exam date" — you can take them whenever you're ready and book your slot via the certification authority.

What if my exam isn't in your catalog?

Search for it on our Browse page. If we don't have it, you'll see "We're building this — drop your email and we'll have it ready in 24 hours." A real human reviews the request, validates that it's a real exam, and our pipeline generates a practice test for it. Top requests get prioritized. If you've been waiting more than 48 hours and don't see a result, email app.acemark@gmail.com — sometimes the auto-generator gets stuck and we kick it manually.

You'll be able to enter your real-exam scores section-by-section, and AceMark will: Compare your scores to historical cutoffs (where published — UPSC, JEE, NEET, etc.) Identify your weakest sections relative to cutoff Auto-build a study plan focused on closing the gap Schedule spaced-repetition cards from your weak topics A later phase will let you drop your scorecard PDF and we'll OCR it for you. What is the AI study coach?

The coach (at /coach) takes your attempt history + real-exam result (when you log one) and builds a personalized study plan: which topics to focus on, how many practice questions per day, when to revisit weak areas via spaced repetition. It works because we track your actual answers — not just total scores. So if you keep getting questions wrong on a specific topic, the coach surfaces it. You don't have to figure out what to study; the data does. Sign-in required (the coach can't personalize without an account).

Do you sell my data?

No. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties for advertising or analytics beyond Google AdSense (which handles ad serving with its own privacy controls). Your attempt history, study plan, account email, and personal information stay with us. Read the Privacy Policy for the contract — it's plain English, no surprises.

Are the ads personalized to me?

Depends on your consent and age: If you decline cookies: non-personalized ads only. Contextual, based on the page you're on, not on you personally. If you accept cookies + are 18+: standard AdSense personalized ads. If you're self-identified 13-17 (a minor): non-personalized always, regardless of consent. We hardcode this for child safety. Under 13: not allowed on the platform per our terms — see the age gate. You can change your cookie choice anytime via the link in the footer.

Catalog breadth in one place — competitive exams (UPSC, JEE, NEET, CAT), licensing tests (DMV, USMLE), certifications (AWS, PMP, ITIL), language tests, immigration tests — all under one roof, not separate paid apps The catch (we're being honest): we have less polished editorial commentary than UWorld for medical, and less curated explainers than Magoosh for GRE. If you're prepping for a single high-stakes exam and have the budget, those are great tools. If you want a free, multi-exam, adaptive system, AceMark is built for you.

Are you affiliated with any exam authority?

No. AceMark is an independent practice tool. We're not affiliated with the College Board, UPSC, NTA, CBSE, AWS, Microsoft, Google, AXELOS, PMI, or any other authority whose exam syllabuses we cover. We respect their trademarks (we don't use their logos in our content), we reference their published syllabuses for question topic structure, and we always link to their official site for the real exam.

How do I reset my password?

Go to the sign-in page → "Forgot password?" → enter your email. We'll send a single-use reset link to your inbox. The link expires in 24 hours. If you don't see the email, check spam — Gmail occasionally filters our welcome emails. If still nothing, email app.acemark@gmail.com.

Why does it say my email isn't verified?

When you sign up with email + password, we send a verification link to confirm the email belongs to you. Until you click it, your account exists but can't sign in with credentials (Google sign-up doesn't need this step since Google verifies the email for you). Didn't get the verification email? On the sign-in page after a failed attempt, click "Resend verification." Or sign in with Google instead — same account if the email matches.

Which browsers and devices do you support?

Modern Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — current and previous major versions. Mobile Safari + Chrome on iOS/Android — fully supported. Internet Explorer is not supported (it's not maintained by Microsoft). If you hit a layout bug or a feature that doesn't work, please report it via the feedback button on any page — include your browser and OS so we can reproduce.

My sign-in keeps failing — why?

A few common causes: 1. Wrong password — try "Forgot password?" to reset 2. Unverified email — check inbox for the verification link 3. Account doesn't exist — sign up first (we don't auto-create accounts on sign-in attempts; that's a security feature) 4. Rate-limited — too many attempts in a short window; wait 10 minutes 5.
