01
Complete Form DS-160
Fill out the online non-immigrant visa application. Keep the confirmation page with the barcode — you must bring it to the interview.
02
Pay the visa fee
B1/B2 visa fee is currently $185 (USD). Pay through the bank channel listed for your country on the embassy site.
03
Schedule two appointments
Book the biometrics (Visa Application Centre) appointment first, then the consular interview at the US Embassy or Consulate.
04
Attend the interview
Bring your passport, DS-160 confirmation, appointment letter, photo, and supporting documents (employment proof, financial records, ties-to-home-country evidence). The officer decides on the spot.
05
Passport return
Approved passports are returned via the courier service you selected during booking — typically 5–10 business days.

The experience

What to expect on test day

Timed simulation
Every mock runs under real exam time pressure. No pauses, no hints — exactly like the day.
Randomised questions
Every attempt draws fresh questions. You cannot memorise your way to a pass — you have to understand.
Integrity monitoring
Tab switches are logged in mock mode. Three switches auto-submits — same discipline as a real proctor.
Detailed results
Topic-by-topic breakdown, every answer explained, and a personalised 5-day study plan when you finish.
How to prepare

Immigration study playbook

Four habits that move the needle most — pulled from how high-scorers actually study.

01
Read the official study guide cover-to-cover — every question comes directly from it.
02
Build a one-page cheat sheet of key dates, names, and numbers. Review it daily.
03
Practise under timed conditions from day one — speed matters as much as accuracy.
04
Review every wrong answer immediately. Write down the rule you missed.
